This page contains answers to some of the most frequently asked questions, as well as some important information about ordering your dress. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

How long will my appointment last?

It is always best to allow at least 2 hours for your initial bridal appointment.

Can I park near by?

Yes you can park near by, there is a 1 hours free car park just behind the Gorleston precinct (Wilkinsons and Farm foods) and then just walk through the precinct to the High Street.

What sizes do you stock?

Our sample gowns range from size 10 to size 24, but can be ordered from a size 4 to 30 upwards.

When can I come in?

We are open from 10am to 5pm on Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri and Sat and 10am to 4pm on a Wed. We will also open for private evening appointments any evening during the week, but there will be a charge of £20.00 for evening appointments which is returnable when you come to the appointment.

Do I need to book an appointment?

No you do not have to book an appointment as we always try our best to help you, but if we are busy when you visit the shop we would recommend that it is best if possible to book an appointment with us just to ensure that you have plenty of time to try on your favourite dresses from our collection.

What if I don’t have this much time?

If you do not have much time until your wedding, don’t worry some of our designers deliver to a shorter timescale and if needs be there will be an extra charge for delivery on these dresses but it does mean that some styles of gowns can be delivered within 4 to 12 weeks. Also we always have some gowns on our sale rail or some gowns could be sold off the rail. Take a look at our wedding dresses page at designers, Mori Lee, Maggie Sottero, Eden Bridals and Julietta (for the fuller figure) and if the timescale is not long enough for you, just call the shop or e-mail us to find out if the dress you like can be delivered on a rush order.

When should I buy my gown ?

]It is never to soon to buy your gown, provided that you are confident and sure that you have chosen the dress of your dreams, but do remember that your dress is made to order and is especially for you and can take up to fourteen to eighteen weeks to be delivered after ordering, plus you will need some time for fittings and alterations on your dress.

Whilst your wedding day seems a long time away at the moment, the closer you get to your big day, the more things you will have to think about and to know that your wedding gown is all in hand well in advance, and is just one less thing you will have to worry about and there is nothing worse than feeling like you have had to rush and make a decision on the dress of your dreams. So do give yourself plenty of time if you can.

Tips for your appointment!

  • If possible, wear a strapless bra.
  • If possible bring some shoes that are close to the same sized heal as you are going to wear on your wedding day.
  • Be open minded and open to suggestions of styles from our assistants.
  • And most importantly have fun trying on our gowns.

Alterations

Most dresses, be it Wedding, Bridesmaid, Prom gown or Mother of the Bride /Groom, will usually need some alterations to give that perfect fit, we use self employed Seamstresses who we can recommend to do alterations but we have no problem with you taking your dress away and having the garment altered with a Seamstress of your own choice.
